I have these made to my specs. They are thicker than normal and fit tight to the screw on the A-bar and the Spring Saddle. The benifits of that little trick are awesome. It cuts down on vibration alot! It allows the machine owner to be sure that the machine goes right back together just like it was because there is no slop in the holes. These are bronze washers, this helps keep a tight, strong hold and just enough give to smooth out the sound of your machine. I like to use the small one on top and the bigger one on the bottom. the small one evens out the pressure on the big one and helps reduce both washers from mushrooming and allowing air gaps that cause vibrations. These washers are meant to work with #8 screws. These washers are great on the a-bar and on the spring saddle, I have noticed orders with only half as many needed. Remember to count the places you want to use them. I use a total of 6 small and 2 large per machine. 4 of the small are for the binding posts. (typical screws on American tattoo machines) Take a close look at the washers on your machines againt the light on the ceiling...see any light in gaps between the washers and frame, or betwween two washers? than you need these washers! thanks.
